Who can participate?

Sub Nipper boys & girls (7-8) - 2008-2009
Nipper boys & girls (9-10) - 2006-2007
Sprog boys & girls (11-12) - 2004-2005
Sub Junior boys & girls (13 - primary school) - 2003
Sub Junior boys & girls (14 - high school) - 2002
Youth Men A & Youth Women A (15) - 2001
Youth Men B & Youth Women B (16) - 2000
Junior men & women (17-18) - 1998-1999

How does it work?

A rider can enter each event as an individual or as part of his or her school's MTB team. 
Each rider will receive points based on the points log - the aim is for the school to accumulate as many points as possible but more importantly to introduce more kids to bikes.

Course Information

The Spur Schools MTB League follows a Cross Country format where riders will complete laps based on a time limit. The distance will vary slightly from track to track and follow the suggested guidelines:

Primary Schools - 2km-4km

Junior Men: 50-60min | Junior Women: 40-50min

Youth Men: 40-50min | Youth Women: 30-40min

Sub Junior Boys B: 30-40min | Sub Junior Girls B: 25-35min

High Schools - 4km-6km

Sub Junior Boys A: 30-40min | Sub Junior Girls A: 25-35min

Sprog Boys:  20-30min | Sprog Girls: 20-30min

Nipper Boys:  15-25min | Nipper Girls: 15-25min

Sub Nipper Boys: 15-20min | Sub Nipper Girls: 15-20min
