Trail Grading

The standardisation of trail information is of key importance to the AMA. This definitely doesn't mean we want to say what's good and what is bad.

Trail grading is a tough issue because of the diversity of the offerings out there and instead of trying to compare apples to pears we should focus on presenting accurate information and leave the enjoyment rating to the riders!

Accurate information will greatly assist riders to determine what's waiting after the trailhead and we'll be assessing all the available trails to kickstart the process.

Signage

One of the aims of the AMA is to standardise trail signage and a develop a generic grading/rating system. We will do this using international applications to ensure global standards.
We urge you to contact us when ordering signage so that we can try and get all trails in line and standardised.
